AL-RAHMAN – THE MOST GRACIOUS

I seek refuge in Allah from satan the rejected.

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

Everyone who submits to God through Quran knows that His name is ALLAH, but rarely do they call Him as AL-RAHMAN, which is also His name. The Scripture has many different verses, and as Muslims we have to comply with all of them. Our submission is not complete till we apply all the verses to our lives and fulfill them.

Today, you will have a new awakening to God’s name as AL-RAHMAN, and you should mention it frequently, just as you mention His name as ALLAH; Praise and Glory be to Him. The verse I am going to recite is a powerful verse and when the “proofs” of the verse are also recited, it becomes even more powerful and significant.

17:110 Part: Say, “Call Him ALLAH, or call Him AL-RAHMAN; whichever name you use, to Him belongs the best names.

Revealed: Note that the verse number is 110, which is also the GV of the

Shahadah – “La Elaha Ella Hoo”, meaning: “There is no god except He”.

We see awesome proofs of God, whether we take half the verse, upto Al-Rahman, or the complete verse; consistent with the great “Revelation of 1” that has been revealed to me. Alhumdo Lillah.

17:110 Part: Say, Call Him ALLAH. 17:110 Part: Or call Him Al-Rahman.

Revealed: The Aleefs for each part are 3 and 4, revealing the diff. of 1 – “Revelation of 1”.

Revealed: The messenger’s letters are 5 and 6, revealing the diff. of 1 – “Revelation of 1”.

Revealed: Both parts combined: The Allah letters are 12 and messenger’s letters are 11, revealing the diff. of 1.

Let us take the verse as two different parts this time:

17:110 Part: Say, Call Him ALLAH, or call Him Al-Rahman.

17:110 Part: Whichever name you use, to Him belongs the best names.

Revealed: The Aleefs are 7 and 8, revealing the diff. of 1 again.

Revealed: The messenger’s letters are 11 and 12, revealing the diff. of 1 again.

Both parts combined together: The Allah letters are 24, and messenger’s letters are 23, thereby revealing the diff. of 1 – “Revelation of 1”.

As you have just witnessed, the above Miracles reinforce the message of the Quran through the messenger, of God’s Absolute Authority. Glory be to Him.

I will now recite a variety of verses having the name, Al-Rahman in them, to show you the importance of calling Him by this name. The chapter having the greatest number of verses on Al-Rahman is chapter 19.

13:30 (command to the messenger) We have sent you to this community, just as we did for other communities in the past. You shall recite to them what we reveal to you, for they have disbelieved in Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious). Say, “He is my Lord. There is no god except He. I put my trust in Him alone; to Him is my ultimate destiny.”

19:18 (Mary implored) She said, “I seek refuge in Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious), that you may be righteous.

19:26 (Jesus said to his mother, Mary) “Eat and drink, and be happy. When you see anyone, say, ‘I have made a vow of silence to Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious); I am not talking today to anyone.’”

19:44 (Abraham addressed his father) O my father, do not worship the devil. The devil has rebelled against Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious).

19:45 O my father, I fear lest you incur retribution from Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious), then become an ally of the devil.

19:58 These are some of the prophets whom GOD blessed. They were chosen from among the descendants of Adam, and the descendants of those whom we carried with Noah, and the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and from among those whom we guided and selected. When the revelations of Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious) are recited to them, they fall prostrate, weeping.

19:61 The gardens of Eden await them, as promised by Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious) for those who worship Him, even in privacy. Certainly, His promise must come to pass.

19:69 Then we will pick out from each group the most ardent opponent of Al- Rahman (the Most Gracious).

19:75 Say, “Those who choose to go astray, Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious) will lead them on, until they see what is promised for them – either the retribution or the Hour. That is when they find out who really is worse off, and weaker in power.”

19:78 Has he seen the future? Has he taken such a pledge from Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious)?

19:85 The day will come when we summon the righteous before Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious) in a group.

19:87 No one will possess the power to intercede, except those who conform to the laws of Al-Rahman, (the Most Gracious.)

19:88 They said, “Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious) has begotten a son!”

19:91 Because they claim that Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious) has begotten a son. 19:92 It is not befitting Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious) that He should beget a son. 19:93 Every single one in the heavens and the earth is a servant of Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious).

19:96 Surely, those who believe and lead a righteous life, Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious) will shower them with love.

20:4-5 A revelation from the Creator of the earth and the high heavens. Al-Rahman; He has assumed all authority.

20:90 And Aaron had told them, “O my people, this is a test for you. Your only Lord is Al-Rahman, so follow me, and obey my commands.”

20:108 (On Day of Judgment) On that day, everyone will follow the caller, without the slightest deviation. All sounds will be hushed before Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious); you will hear nothing but whispers.

20:109 On that day, intercession will be useless, except for those permitted by the Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious), and whose utterances conform to His will.

21:26-27 Yet, they said, “Al-Rahman (the Most gracious) has begotten a son!” Glory be to Him. All (messengers) are (His) honored servants. They never speak on their own, and they strictly follow His commands.

21:36 When those who disbelieve see you, they ridicule you: “Is this the one who challenges your gods?” Meanwhile, they remain totally heedless of the message from the Al-Rahman.

21:42 Say, “Who can protect you from Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious) during the night or during the day?” Indeed, they are totally oblivious to the message of their Lord.

21:112 Say, “My Lord, Your judgment is the absolute justice. Our Lord is Al-Rahman; only His help is sought in the face of your claims.”

25:26 All sovereignty on that day belongs to Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious). For the disbelievers, it will be a difficult day.

25:63 The worshipers of Al-Rahman are those who tread the earth gently, and when the ignorant speak to them, they only utter peace.

26:5 Whenever a reminder from Al-Rahman comes to them, that is new, they turn away in aversion.

36:11 You will be heeded only by those who uphold this message, and reverence Al- Rahman – even when alone in their privacy. Give them good news of forgiveness and a generous recompense.

36:15-16 They said, “You are no more than human beings like us. Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious) did not send down anything. You are liars.” They said (the messengers), “Our Lord knows that we have been sent to you.”

36:23 “Shall I set up beside Him gods? If Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious) willed any harm for me, their intercession cannot help me one bit, nor can they rescue me.

36:52 They will say, “Woe to us. Who resurrected us from our death? This is what Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious) has promised. The messengers were right.”

43:17 When one of them is given news (of a daughter) as they claimed for Al- Rahman (the Most Gracious), his face is darkened with misery and anger.

4

43:19 They claimed that the angels, who are servants of Al-Rahman are females! Have they witnessed their creation? Their claims are recorded, and they will be asked.

43:20 They even said, “If Al-Rahman willed, we would not have worshiped them.” They have no basis for such a claim; they only conjecture.

43:36 Anyone who disregards the message of Al-Rahman, we appoint the devil to be his constant companion.

43:45 Check the messengers we sent before you: “Have we ever appointed any other gods – beside Al-Rahman – to be worshiped?”

43:81 Proclaim: “If Al-Rahman did have a son, I would still be the foremost worshiper.”

50:33 They reverenced Al-Rahman, in their privacy, and came wholeheartedly.

55:1 Al-Rahman

55:2 Teacher of the Quran.

67:3-4 He created seven universes in layers. You do not see any imperfection in the creation by Al-Rahman. Keep looking; do you see any flaw? Look again and again; your eyes will come back stumped and conquered.

67:19 Have they not seen the birds above them lined up in columns and spreading their wings? Al-Rahman is the One who holds them in the air. He is Seer of all things. 67:20 Where are the soldiers who can help you against Al-Rahman? Indeed, the disbelievers are deceived.

67:29 Say, “He is the Al-Rahman; we believe in Him, and we trust in Him. You will surely find out who is really far astray.”

78:37 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and everything between them. Al-Rahman (the Most Gracious). No one can abrogate His decisions.

78:38 The day will come when the Spirit and the angels will stand in a row. None will speak except those permitted by Al-Rahman, and they will utter only what is right.

In the end, I am presenting a couple of verses so that you can check your level of submission to Al-Rahman. In verse 2:34, God gave the command directly to the

angels to fall prostrate before Adam. They all fell prostrate except iblees, as he was arrogant, and a disbeliever in God’s commands.

This time around, God is giving a command through the messenger, to fall prostrate before Al-Rahman. This command comes through the “Revelation of 1” as a Test to see whether you are submissive and humble or arrogant like satan. Compare these verses:

2:34 When we said to the angels, “Fall prostrate before Adam,” they fell prostrate, except satan; he refused, was too arrogant, and a disbeliever.”

25:60 When they are told, (through the messenger) “Fall prostrate before Al- Rahman,” they say, “What is Al-Rahman? Shall we prostrate before what you advocate?” Thus, it only augments their aversion.

Revealed: The Allah letters in each verse are 22 and 23, revealing the diff. of 1. (Al-Rahman)

Revealed: The messenger’s letters in each verse are 31 and 32, revealing the diff. of 1. (Al-Rahman)

25:59 He is the One who created the heavens and the earth, and everything between them, in six days, then assumed all authority. AL-RAHMAN; ask about Him those who are well founded in knowledge.

Peace be upon the messengers.

And Praise be to Al-Rahman, Lord of the Universe.
