MOST CRIMES COMMITTED BY MEN RATHER THAN WOMEN (PART 1)

I seek refuge in Allah, from satan the rejected.

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

Allah, Most Wise, created the human species, just like He created many other creatures. And He designed the humans to be male or female. Through the two genders, He continues the reproduction of the human beings.

53:45 He is the One who created the two kinds, male and female.

42:49 Part: He creates whatever He wills, granting daughters to whomever He wills, and granting sons to whomever He wills.

42:50 Or, He may have the males and the females marry each other, then render whomever He wills sterile. He is Omniscient, Omnipotent.

Revealed: The Aleefs (Absolute Authority) are 7 and 8, revealing the diff. of 1.

Revealed: The Allah letters are 13 and 12, revealing the diff. of 1. Revealed: The messenger’s letters are 21 and 22, revealing the diff. of 1.

Through the above Proofs and Revelations, God has proven the creation process, and the creation of only 2 kinds of gender, males, and females. This is His Law. The Miracles above constitute the “ULTIMATE MIRACLES FOR THE HUMAN BEINGS”. They rule out any other gender that the human beings ascribe names to. Based on the current population on Earth of about 6.2 billion people, the women are half of the earth’s population or a little more. Without going into concrete statistical evidence, it is easy to see that the males commit a much higher ratio of all crimes, compared to females, in all countries. By visiting any jail on earth, you will notice that the majority of the inmates are males. By reading your local newspapers, you will observe again that most of the criminal’s names are of males. If you check with any police station records, they will tell you the same. The question arises that if the females are half or more of the population, why is their crime rate so low, as compared to the males? Certainly, both genders are different from each other, in the commission of crimes. The portion of verse 3:36 says:

3:36 Part: “The male is not the same as the female.”

***If you notice the children at an early age, you will see that the boys choose to play with cars, guns, pistols, muscular robotic men, and other macho toys; while the girls choose to play with dolls, crockery sets, hairbrushes, etc. This shows the different nature and attitudes even as toddlers. Boys will engage more in pushing and shoving than the girls. As grown ups, you will notice that the professions that require caring and compassion, for instance “nurses and teachers”, is mostly taken on by women. The men are more muscular with a bigger frame of body, on an average, compared to the women. They each have their own qualities according to the role and functions designed by God, as the verse tells us:

4:32 Part 1: You shall not covet the qualities bestowed upon each other by GOD.

4:32 Part 2: The men enjoy certain qualities, and the women enjoy certain qualities.

Revealed: The Allah letters are 11 and 12, revealing the diff. of 1 God confirms the above.

4:32 Part 3: You may implore GOD to shower you with His grace. 4:32 Part 4: GOD is fully aware of all things.

Revealed: The Allah letters are 8 and 9, revealing the diff. of 1 – GOD. Revealed: The messenger’s letters are 9 and 10, revealing the diff. of 1 – GOD.

Though God has made both genders equal in faith, He has created them with a difference of some body parts, natures, attitudes, feelings, and behaviors. They are created with different roles to be played by each, as the following verses tells us:

4:34 Part: The men are made responsible for the women, and GOD has endowed them with certain qualities, and made them the bread earners. The righteous women will cheerfully accept this arrangement, since it is GOD’s commandment, and honor their husbands during their absence.

35:11 Part: No female becomes pregnant, nor gives birth, without His knowledge.

13:8 GOD knows what every female bears, and what every womb releases, or gains. Everything He does is perfectly measured.

***The verses above have clarified the role of each gender and tells us that the reproduction of humans happens only through the women, who are assigned the

2

role of bearing and raising of the children, when they are infants, while the men are given the responsibility of being bread-earners and taking care of their wives and children.

***I will now list some of the major kinds of crimes that commonly exist and happen, in which mostly males are involved:

  1. Murder of another human, or torture: All over the earth, the overwhelming majority of murders are committed by males, rather than females. Torture takes place in many countries through males, even of the innocent.

  1. Kidnapping for ransom or revenge: This crime is almost always committed by men.

  1. Suicide mission to achieve political or religious goals: Different countries and groups have committed this crime to achieve their political and religious goals; taking the lives of innocent in this process, without any regard to human life. Again, we see that it is overwhelmingly carried out by men, and if ever a woman is involved, it is because of coercion, intimidation or false promises made by men.

  1. Theft and robbery of others: Women are involved in minor robberies like shoplifting or stealing when nobody is around; while the majority of robberies, especially, breaking into homes, banks, stores as well as the armed robberies and bank holdups are the work of men. Car theft and theft of jewels, arts, antiques, and other valuables is done mostly by men. A good case in point is the looting in Iraq and Haiti recently, where you could see only the males involved in this crime, and hardly any women.

  1. The buying and selling of children, or kidnapping to put them in sex trade, or as beggars: Throughout history, this crime has taken place, mostly in impoverished countries, and the culprits behind this heinous crime are males again.

  1. Sexual assault and rape of girls and women: It is rare to hear that a woman assaulted a man, be it physical or sexual; and is very common to hear men involved in this injustice and cruelty towards the females.

  1. Forcing and subjecting women into prostitution: Though there are women behind some prostitution rings, the lead and controlling person is always a male; and the “pimps” are always males who collect their share from this unjust and illegal trade.

3

  1. Wife beating: A lot of men use aggression, and resort to beating of their wives or girlfriends to make them comply with their demands, while it is rare to hear a female doing the same to a male.

  1. Drugs and smuggling of illicit items: The smuggling of drugs has become endemic all over the earth. It is all done and controlled by males to reap huge profits and to build a power base. The smuggling of other items of value also corrupts government officials and police, while enriching the smugglers. Because of lower cost of smuggled goods, it violates the honest competition between retailers whose cost of the same goods is higher. All of this trade is entirely controlled by males across the Earth.

  1. Fraud by government officials and by corporate officers: The civil penalties are low for this kind of crime; therefore, many government and corporate chiefs engage in this from time to time, and they are most certainly males.

  1. Gangs and gang violence: This crime is rampant across many countries. There are political gangs, religious gangs, turf gangs (to control certain territory), biker gangs, extortionist gangs, drug gangs, teenage gangs and those that operate for illegal, financial gains. I see that they are operated and controlled by men, though an odd incident of female gang may be there, but again controlled by males.

  1. Hijacking of planes & cars: This is mostly carried out by males, but occasionally, when females were involved, they are under male command and supervision.

  1. Killing of own children: Some women do kill their own children for various reasons. But men also bear the responsibility for not taking care of the woman during the crucial phase of childbirth and soon after. The evidence will show that men surpass the women in this crime also.

  1. Overthrow of an individual or regime to become a king, president or prime minister: This completes 14 examples of major crimes and there are many more. This last one fits into the ego and desire of most males who want to be rulers, to be in a position of command and control, and to be in a position of honor and privilege. For this reason, we see that throughout history, this crime has been committed by males to gain control and power and to rule over the people against their wishes. In this process to gain power and to retain it afterwards, they have murdered and killed innocents by the scores. All of these 14 examples are applicable to disbelievers. A believing person, male or female, would never do such crimes

4

intentionally; and if they do, they would realize their sin right away in order to repent to God, and to stay as a submitter.

***There have been believing rulers also at times, guided by God. Their actions and examples were in compliance of God’s laws. If you add up all the crimes committed on Earth every day, you will then realize the reason why God has said in verse 8:73.

8:73 Part 1: Those who disbelieved are allies of one another.

8:73 Part 2: Unless you keep these commandments, (meaning, the Quranic commands) there will be chaos on Earth, and terrible corruption.

Revealed: Proofs of Absoluteness: The Aleefs are 4 and 5, revealing the diff. of 1 - Almighty God.

8:73 Part 2: Unless you keep these commandments, there will be chaos on Earth, and terrible corruption.

Revealed: The Allah letters are 10, and messenger’s letters are 11, revealing the diff. of 1 – The believers are advised to observe God’s commandments by following His messenger, and not to participate in the chaos and corruption on Earth that is caused by satan and his followers.

If a poll or survey was taken for all the human beings on the Earth and they were asked?

  1. Are you happy with your rulers and false masters?
  2. Are you at peace with yourself or suffering from fear and tyranny?
  3. Are you free or suppressed by those in-charge over you?
  4. Do you encounter any kind of persecution and oppression in any form?
  5. Are you happy with the laws that govern you?

The resounding answer from the majority will be negative, which means that the overwhelming majority of people are not happy with the current laws and situation and wish that there were less chaos and corruption, and more peace. This is exactly what God, Most Wise, Most Praiseworthy, has stated in 8:73. In addition, God has given the following verses:

45:17 Part: We have given them herein clear commandments.

45:18 Part: We then appointed you to establish the correct laws.

5

Revealed: The Aleefs of Absoluteness are 3 and 2, revealing the diff. of 1. Revealed: The Allah letters are 5 and 6, revealing the diff. of 1.

Revealed: The messenger’s letters are 11 and 10, revealing the diff. of 1.

God has clearly stated and stressed that His laws are a deterrent to chaos and corruption, and His commandments can only be explained as to their correctness and application by a messenger, whom He appoints. Let us see what references and precedents we can find regarding the nature, attitudes and behavior of males and females in the Quran.

NATURE, ATTITUDE & BEHAVIOR OF MALES

4:15 Part: Those who commit adultery among your women, you must have 4 witnesses against them, from among you.

Comment: To spare the women of false accusations against adultery, God placed the condition of having 4 witnesses; no less and no more.

6:139 Part: They also said, “What is in the bellies of these livestock is reserved exclusively for the males among us, and prohibited for our wives.” But if it was a stillbirth, they permitted their wives to share therein.

Comment: This verse shows the control of men over women. The men decide unilaterally without the participation of the women, this is classic persecution of the females, where they have no voice or say in anything.

4:19 O you who believe, it is not lawful for you to inherit what the women leave behind, against their will. You shall not force them to give up anything you had given them, unless they commit a proven adultery. You shall treat them nicely. If you dislike them, you may dislike something wherein GOD had placed a lot of good.

Comment: This verse shows that disbelieving men will be greedy to inherit against God’s laws, to gain financially. It also shows that men do force and coerce women into giving up something, and to achieve this, they resort to false allegations of adultery sometimes.

4:20 If you wish to marry another wife, in place of your present wife, and you had given any of them a great deal, you shall not take back anything you had given her. WOULD YOU TAKE IT FRAUDULENTLY, MALICIOUSLY, AND SINFULLY?

6

Comment: The words: “fraudulent, malicious, sinful” apply to males here. There is no verse addressing the females with these kinds of words. This shows the difference in the attitudes and behaviors of the two genders, whereby God points out that males can be “fraudulent and malicious”.

5:27-30 Recite for them the true history of Adam’s two sons. They made an offering, and it was accepted from one of them, but not from the other. He said, “I will surely kill you.” He said, “GOD accepts only from the righteous.” “If you extend your hand to kill me, I am not extending my hand to kill you. For I reverence GOD, Lord of the Universe. “I want you, not me, to bear my sin and your sin, then you end up with the dwellers of Hell. Such is the requital for the transgressors.” His ego provoked him into killing his brother. He killed him, and ended up with the losers.

Comment: A male is involved in the crime of murder, even his own brother, out of jealousy and ego. The believing brother feared God, and would not commit this crime, while the disbelieving brother went ahead with the crime, to be condemned to Hell.

6:137 Thus were the idol worshipers duped by their idols, to the extent of killing their own children. In fact, their idols inflict great pain upon them, and confuse their religion for them. Had GOD willed, they would not have done it. You shall disregard them and their fabrications.

Comment: The idol worshipers mentioned here are again males, if you follow through up to verse 6:139, you will realize this fact. Since this life is a Test from God, the disbelievers are allowed to follow their idols, who create total chaos and confusion for them, even to the extent of killing their own children.

7:123-124 Pharoah said, “Did you believe in him without my permission? This must be a conspiracy you schemed in the city, in order to take its people away. You will surely find out. “I will cut your hands and feet on alternate sides, then I will crucify you all.”

Comment: In this example, a male authoritarian ruler threatens extreme torture for those who transgress his authority and believe in God and the messenger without his permission.

7:150 Part: When Moses returned to his people, angry and disappointed, he said, “What a terrible thing you have done in my absence! Could you not wait for the

7

commandments of your Lord?” He threw down the tablets, and took hold of his brother’s head, pulling him towards himself.

Comment: Even a messenger, who was male, when angry, frustrated, and disappointed, resorted to physical assault on his own brother. This is called losing one’s temper.

4:128 If a woman senses oppression or desertion from her husband, the couple shall try to reconcile their differences, for conciliation is best for them. Selfishness is a human trait, and if you do good and lead a righteous life, GOD is fully Cognizant of everything you do.

Comment: In 4:34, we see that women can rebel against the husband’s commands or wishes, meaning disobedience to the husband. But in verse 4:128, it clearly tells us that the man is prone and liable to oppress his wife, even deserting her, out of selfishness. When we compare “rebellion” with “oppression”, the former is not a physical act or assault, while the latter could be. God has also stated that: “Oppression is worse than murder.” Males are usually responsible for the sin of oppression.

27:34 She said, (Sheba) “The kings corrupt any land they invade, and subjugate its dignified people. This is what they usually do.”

Comment: This verse points out to the kings, being males, who subjugate, oppress, and persecute the innocent people after invading, when they oppose them or do not bow to their commands.

28:15 Part: The one from his people called on him for help against his enemy. Moses punched him, killing him.

Comment: The killing was done by a male, and not a female. Unfortunately, it happened to be God’s messenger, Moses. He repented for his crime after he realized that he had wronged his soul.

27:48 There were nine gangsters in the city who were wicked, and never did anything good.

Comment: These gangsters were males, doing all sorts of wicked things.

24:11 A gang among you produced a big lie. Do not think that it was bad for you; instead, it was good for you. Meanwhile, each one of them has earned his share of

8

the guilt. As for the one who initiated the whole incident, he has incurred a terrible retribution.

Comment: This incident is covered through verses 24:11-19. The person who produced a lie, fabrication, and false accusation was a male, who committed a horrendous sin.

24:13 Only if they produced four witnesses. If they fail to produce the witnesses, then they are, according to GOD, liars.

Comment: Men are prone to falsely accuse women of adultery, without the 4 witnesses. This is highly sinful act, whereby they will be condemned to Hell.

12:15 When they went away with him, (meaning Joseph), and unanimously decided to throw him into the abyss of the well, we inspired him: “Some day, you will tell them all this, while they have no idea.”

Comment: Joseph was thrown into the well by his own brothers, who were males, out of jealousy. It reflects cruelty on their part, and they lied afterwards to their father about the whole incident.

12:19-20 A caravan passed by, and soon sent their waterer. He let down his bucket, then said, “How lucky! There is a boy here!” They took him along as merchandise, and GOD was fully aware of what they did. They sold him for a cheap price – a few Dirhams – for they did not have any need for him.

Comment: In this example, the males are the ones who sold the child, (Joseph) to make money out of him, rather than raising him, which would be the righteous thing to do.

29:28-29 Part: Lot said to his people, “You commit such an abomination, no one in the world has ever done it before you. You practice sex with the men, you commit highway robbery, and you allow all kinds of vice in your society.”

Comment: Homosexuality was started by males, and even today’s movement of legalizing “same sex marriages”, has been initiated by the males, to be followed by the females. The verse also mentions the crime of “highway robbery”, and other vices which, as always is done mostly by males.

9

To portray the nature of males, God has put down the following verse

3:14 Adorned for the people are the worldly pleasures, such as the women, having children, piles upon piles of gold and silver, trained horses, livestock, and crops. These are materials of this world. A far better abode is reserved at GOD.

Comment: The lust for women by the “men” is mentioned here, and other worldly pleasures. But no such verse is given for the women.

***The above verses reflect some of the aggressive, manipulative, oppressive nature of the males, which goes unchecked amongst the disbelieving males. The unrepentant ones have no remorse for their sins and crimes. Women have traditionally been deprived of their freedom of choice in matters of belief, and their legitimate rights and freedoms, in general, as granted by God, under His laws. The males, who are created stronger and muscular, by God, tend to use their power in a sinful way. This constitutes a big test for them, and they will be held accountable for the unjust and undue aggression, suppression, manipulation, domination, persecution, and oppression of the women.

***Now let us see what kind of references we find about women in the Quran. Though it is important to point out, that there are more verses and references to males as compared to females.

28:7 We inspired Moses’ mother: “Nurse him, and when you fear for his life, throw him into the river without fear or grief. We will return him to you, and will make him one of the messengers.”

Comment: The basic role of a woman is given here as that of “nursing” the child.

28:9 Pharoah’s wife said, “This can be a joyous find for me and you. Do not kill him, for he may be of some benefit for us, or we may adopt him to be our son.” They had no idea.

Comment: In this example, the husband, who was a tyrant and apt to kill the baby; but the wife played the righteous role of adopting the baby; showing the kinder and gentler nature of a woman.

28:13 Thus, we restored him to his mother, in order to please her, remove her worries, and to let her know that GOD’s promise is the truth. However, most of them do not know.

10

Comment: The mother is reflected as worrying about the child. It was a difficult test for Moses’ mother to part with the child, according to God’s instructions.

28:23 When he reached Midyan’s water, he found a crowd of people watering, and noticed two women waiting on the side. He said, “What is it that you need?” They said, “We are not able to water, until the crowd disperses, and our father is an old man.”

Comment: This verse shows that women are not pushy and aggressive, as compared to men. The women had to wait till the men got out of the way, in order to get some water for their family. It also shows the shy nature of women.

7:189 He created you from one person. Subsequently, He gives every man a mate to find tranquility with her. She then carries a light load that she can hardly notice. As the load gets heavier, they implore GOD their Lord: “If you give us a good baby, we will be appreciative.”

Comment: The wives are given the nature to comfort the husband and the children, therefore the word used here is “tranquility”. It also points out to the role of women as bearers of children.

65:6 Part: You shall allow them to live in the same house in which they lived with you, and do not make life so miserable for them that they leave on their own.

Comment: It is usually the men who are more secure financially, and therefore in a position to force the woman out of the home, or to make life miserable for her. In developed countries, some women do force the husbands out of the home also, by misusing the law that somehow favors them.

60:12 O you prophet, when the believing women do seek asylum with you and pledge to you that they will not set up any idols beside GOD, nor steal, nor commit adultery, nor kill their children, nor fabricate any falsehood, nor disobey your righteous orders, you shall accept their pledge, and pray to GOD to forgive them. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

Comment: Here we see that women are capable of committing the same crimes as men, by being involved in theft, adultery, killing of children,

11

fabricating falsehood, and disobedience to God and His messenger. Quite a few women are known to abort the child, for fear of losing their freedom, and from accepting the additional responsibility in life. There are also some women who kill the child or abandon them, after birth.

33:28 O prophet, say to your wives, “If you are seeking this life and its vanities, then let me compensate you and allow you to go amicably.

Comment: In this example, women can be comparable to men in seeking this worldly life and its vanities, though it specifies what exactly men like in verse 3:14.

33:33 Part: You shall settle down in your homes, and do not mingle with the people excessively, like you used to do in the old days of ignorance.

Comment: This is advice from God to women to be domestic and not to mingle with strange people too much; the reason being that men look at women differently and will always try to get friendly or take advantage. To safeguard their chastity, God has advised as such.

12:23-24 The lady of the house where he lived tried to seduce him. She closed the doors and said, “I am all yours.” He said, “May GOD protect me. He is my Lord, who gave me a good home. The transgressors never succeed.” She almost succumbed to him, and he almost succumbed to her, if it were not that he saw a proof from his Lord. We thus diverted evil and sin away from him, for he was one of our devoted servants.

Comment: It shows that women also have sexual feelings, just like men; and in this example, a disbelieving woman tried to be aggressive to seduce a believing man, who was her servant. (Joseph) But God inspired him to denounce the immoral act and diverted the sin from him.

12:32-33 She said, “This is the one you blamed me for falling in love with. I did indeed try to seduce him, and he refused. Unless he does what I command him to do, he will surely go to prison, and will be debased. He said, “My Lord, the prison is better than giving in to them. Unless You divert their scheming from me, I may desire them and behave like the ignorant ones.”

Comment: These verses tell us that the governor’s wife initiated the affair, and Joseph refused it. Since the woman was in a position of power, and Joseph being her servant, she threatened an innocent man the prison

12

term for refusal to her unjust demands. At the same time, Joseph implored for God’s help in diverting her evil scheming; otherwise, he could have given in to her demands.

111:1 & 4 Condemned are the works of Abee Lahab, and he is condemned. Also his wife, who led the persecution.

Comment: In this verse, God has named Abee Lahab’s wife as the one who led the persecution of the believers, under the command and orders of her husband. Both have been condemned by God and assigned to the Hellfire.

By hearing or reading the above, you can clearly see that there are more verses assigned to males than females; although I did not cover all of them, yet. It would therefore justify what I have stated in the beginning of the sermon; that males do more crimes than their counterparts – the females. I do not have the liberty to mention some of the heinous crimes committed by men on an everyday basis, that we read in the newspapers, as the sermon time is limited.

Are we really equal, at least, in matters of faith and the ultimate reward or punishment? The Quran tells us: YES!

3:195 Part: Their Lord responded to them: “I never fail to reward any worker among you for any work you do, be you male or female – you are equal to one another.

4:25 Part: GOD knows best about your belief, and you are equal to one another, as far as belief is concerned.

4:124 As for those who lead a righteous life, male or female, while believing, they enter Paradise; without the least injustice.

33:73 For GOD will inevitably punish the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women, and the idol worshiping men and the idol worshiping women. GOD redeems the believing men and the believing women. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

The following verse, 33:35 will clarify and prove that there is total equality in matters of faith and belief in God. This verse has the Miracle that is called the “Miracles of Precision – Perfectly Matched”:

These are 10 righteous traits of worshipers of God given through the verse 33:35 and for each trait, the Aleefs are Perfectly Matching for men and women. Even the use of Allah letters is Perfectly Matching and Balanced for men and women.

Revealed: The Aleefs are 10 and 10 Perfectly Matched. Revealed: The Allah letters are 21 and 21 Perfectly Matched.

This proves the equality between Men and Women in ISLAM, and their ultimate destinies. Though some of the laws may be different for men and women, the “equality factor” means obedience to God’s commands in order to submit. The men have a choice to submit to commands that applies to them, and the women have the same choice to submit to commands that applies to them; without comparing what God commanded each other. That is why the last portion of the verse after the last trait of “commemorating women”, ends with the following words:

33:35 Part: GOD has prepared for them forgiveness and a great recompense.

Revealed: The GV of Allah letters is a Perfect 110 – the reward of forgiveness and great recompense for those who uphold His complete ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY under the banner of the Shahadah: LA ELAHA ELLA HOO – GV 110, which represents the ONE GOD.

Peace be upon the messengers.

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Universe.
