STRIVING IN THE CAUSE OF GOD IS MANDATORY
I seek refuge in God from satan the rejected.
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
Last week, I gave a khutbah on “striving in the cause of God”. It was April 7, and this time around, it is April 14, both dates representing the “Miracle of the Seven Pairs”. I shall now address the fact that the “striving in the cause of God” has been made mandatory (compulsory) for the believers. Striving individually, as a group, or as a community; does bring positive results and the blessings of the Most Gracious. Let me first cite an example of striving and the ensuing results, that happened in accordance with God’s will.
If some believers did not devote their time and effort in preaching God’s message, we would not have accomplished in bringing more believers into Islam. If I did not travel overseas and address the questions posed by the people, then we could not expect any positive results. Similarly, our website gives an opportunity to all the people on earth searching for the Truth. Some people have approached me through this medium of message and become believers. There is a variety of ways the Truth of the Quran can be conveyed to the masses, which is called “striving in the cause of God”. By carrying out each and every command of God, you demonstrate your willingness to “strive in His cause”. There is two different ways of striving: first, to preach to others after having believed yourself; and second, to set an example by upholding the laws of God, despite the persecution and opposition that you may face. I will recite verses on these two different ways.
6:51 Part: And preach with this (Quran) to those who reverence the summoning before their Lord.
50:45 Part: Therefore, remind with this Quran, those who reverence My warnings.
Miracle of Seven Pairs: The Allah letters are 10 + 4 = 14, revealing the Seven Pairs.
Sacred Codes: The messenger’s initials are 12 + 7 = 19, revealing the Sacred Codes of 14 – 19.
Entire Verse: 6:51 And preach with this (Quran) to those who reverence the summoning before their Lord – they have none beside Him as a Lord and Master, nor an intercessor – that they may attain salvation.
50:45 We are fully aware of everything they utter, while you have no power over them.
Therefore, remind with this Quran, those who reverence My warnings.
Revealed: The Allah letters are 20 + 13 = 33.
Revealed: The messenger’s initials are 30 + 22 = 52, revealing the diff. in 33 and 52 is precisely 19, Glory be to my Lord.
3:171 They have good news of GOD’s blessings and grace, and that GOD never fails to reward the believers.
Proof: The messenger’s letters are 28 - a multiple of 14.
3:172 For those who respond to GOD and the messenger, despite the persecution they suffer, and maintain their good works, and lead a righteous life, a great reward.
Proof: The messenger’s letters are 38, a multiple of 19, revealing the Sacred Codes.
Revealed: The total messenger’s letters for both verses are 28 + 38 = 66 –
revealing ALLAH.
2:207 Part 1: Then there are those who dedicate their lives to serving GOD.
Revealed: The messenger’s initials are 14, revealing the Seven Pairs.
2:207 Part 2: GOD is Compassionate towards such worshipers.
Revealed: The Allah letters are 7, and the messenger’s letters are 7 also revealing the Seven Pairs.
A TEST AND PRE‐REQUISITE TO BEING GRANTED PARADISE
3:142 Do you expect to enter PARADISE without ALLAH distinguishing those among you who STRIVE, and without distinguishing those who are steadfast?
Miracle of Seven Pairs: The Allah letters are 7 up to Paradise, and 14 up to ALLAH. Miracle of Seven Pairs: The GV of Allah letters up to Allah is 196, and the remaining verse has GV of Allah letters as 98. Note 196 = 14 x 14 and 98 = 7 x 14.
How can you be steadfast and what does it mean?
The answer is by upholding the Quran, all of it, preaching and practicing it throughout your life. That is why the word “al‐sabereen” – “the steadfast” has been assigned a GV of 383 to tie in with the GV of Al‐Quran, also 383. The digits of 383 (3 + 8 + 3) add up to 14,

while the GV of “strive” has been assigned the GV of 19. To follow the mathematically coded Quran revealed through the messengers is the real test for the people in our times.
9:16 Did you think that you will be left alone without ALLAH distinguishing those among you who STRIVE, and never ally themselves with ALLAH’S enemies, or the enemies of His messenger, or the enemies of the believers? ALLAH is fully Cognizant of everything you do.
Miracle of Sacred Codes: Up to the word, “STRIVE” the Allah letters are 14, and the messenger’s letters are 19. Since this verse addresses using the words: “Allah, the messenger, the believers”, therefore, you see the inclusion of the Miracle of the Sacred Codes, which is the Sign revealed to the messenger. This revelation makes it mandatory on the believers to strive in the cause of God along with the messenger.
Miracle of the Seven Pairs: The Aleefs in this verse are 14, to signify “your test” to see if you really do believe in the Absoluteness of ALLAH, through His messenger.
3:179 Part: ALLAH is not to leave the believers as you are, without distinguishing the bad from the good.
Abundance of Bad: The GV of “al‐khabees” is 1143. Scarcity of Good: The GV of “al‐tayyab” is 52.
God has already informed the believers that the “bad” on earth exceed the “good” in numbers; the number 1143 is much higher than 52. A quick sorting is done when a messenger is sent, and the majority of the people refuse to believe in him; they are sorted out to be the “bad”. The few who believe are then put to the test to see if they are true to their faith and conviction, in carrying out God’s laws through the messenger. These numbers when placed next to each other are multiples of 14 and 7, being the “Revelation of the Seven Pairs”.
Miracle of Seven Pairs: 1143,52 = 14 x 8168 and 52,1143 = 7 x 74449.
Revealed: The number of Arabic letters in each word are 6 and 5, to reveal the diff. of 1. Since all guidance is offered through the messengers; you can see that the “matching revelation” appears in these words.
“Al-Khabees” (“the bad”) and “Al-Tayyab” (“the good”).
Revealed: The Allah letters are 2 and 2 - Matching.
Revealed: The messenger’s letters are 3 and 3 - Matching, Glory be to my Lord. Each word: The Allah letters are 2, and messenger’s letters are 3, revealing the diff. of 1.

The most difficult hurdle for the people is whether they can proclaim God as 1 and believe in His messengers to overcome their idolatry. Here is a small test for all the people on earth to expose them as “bad” or be included with the “good.”
3:179 Part: Therefore, you shall believe in ALLAH and His messengers.
Recognize the Revelation? The Allah letters are 8, and messenger’s letters are 9, revealing the diff. of 1 – after seeing such clear proofs, the people should ask themselves whether their belief in Allah can be complete without believing in His messengers? The above command and statement appear in one sentence and cannot be separated.
3:179 Part: If you believe and lead a righteous life, you receive a great recompense.
Recognize Absoluteness of Allah? The two parts reveal the Aleefs as 3 & 4, revealing the diff. of 1.
The belief in Allah is associated with belief in His messengers. The “righteous works” are acceptable only after having acquired such belief – the recompense is then offered to the believers.
The striving of the messenger and the believers cannot be expressed in any better way than what God has expressed through verse 9:88, whereby the 1st part has the Coded letters of the messenger, and the 2nd part has the Coded letters of Allah, Most Glorified. This verse makes it incumbent and mandatory for the messenger and the believers to readily and willingly strive with their money and their lives in the cause of God. It is an opportunity to earn Paradise, and should never be overlooked and missed, especially after God has blessed the believers with Proofs.
9:88 Part 1: As for the messenger and those who believed with him.
Revealed: The messenger’s letters are 14.
9:88 Part 2: They eagerly strive with their money and their lives. These have deserved all the good things; they are the winners.
Revealed: The Allah letters are 19.
The privilege granted to the believers to strive in God’s cause is highlighted through another verse with the special “Revelation of 1” clarifying the verse. The true striving can

only be accomplished by implementing the “correct laws” that are inspired to the messengers.
57:25 Part 1: We sent our messengers supported by clear proofs, and we sent down to them the scripture and the law.
57:25 Part 3: All this in order for GOD to distinguish those who would support Him and His messengers, on faith. GOD is Powerful, Almighty.
Revealed: The Allah letters are 17 and 16, revealing the diff. of 1 – by supporting the messengers, you are supporting God in upholding His Absolute Authority.
Revealed: The messenger’s letters are 26 and 25, revealing the diff. of 1 – this is a profound revelation through which God has clarified using His name letters as well as the messenger’s.
The example of a righteous man who strove in the cause of God is given through 36:20-
21. This example is hardly ever practiced by most of the believers, as they fear the people more than they fear God. This puts their belief in doubt, and they will have to account to God.
36:20 A man came from the other end of the city, saying: “O my people, follow the messengers.”
Revealed: The Allah letters are precisely 14, revealing the Seven Pairs.
36:21 “Follow those who do not ask you for any wage, and are guided.”
Revealed: The messenger’s letters are 14, revealing the Seven Pairs.
94:6 Indeed, with pain there is gain.
94:7 Whenever possible you shall strive.
Revealed: The Allah letters are 4 and 3, revealing the diff. of 1.
Revealed: In both verses, the Allah letters are 7, messenger’s letters are 8, revealing the diff. of 1, Glory be to God.
5:35 O you who believe, you shall reverence GOD, and seek the ways and means to Him, and strive in His cause, so you may succeed.
The important part is to “seek the ways and means to Him”, in order to reverence God.

Revealed: This part has Allah letters as 9, and messenger’s letters are 10, revealing the diff. of 1, or the sum of 19. This proves that the people have to believe in God’s messengers in order to seek the ways and means to reverence Him.
Revealed: The GV of the messenger’s letters for this part is 190, a multiple of 19, and the GV of Allah letters is 104, by adding both, we get 294, becoming a multiple of 14 also.
In order to properly strive and gain credits from God, He stresses that the believing person/s emigrate to God and His messenger. There are many reasons for this; the primary reason is that you get a chance to rally around the messenger and support his efforts in preaching Islam. The other reasons are that your test takes place through the messenger, and you also get the opportunity to practice the correct laws. As the high heaven and higher ranks are reserved for the believers, this should be the motivating factor in emigrating to the messenger.
16:110 As for those who emigrate because of persecution, then continue to strive and steadfastly persevere, your Lord, because of all this, is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
Proven Fact: The GV of Allah letters is precisely 114 – proving that the believers can only practice and uphold God’s laws and strive in accordance with the Quran (114 chapters) by being close to the messenger. The verse number given is also 110, denoting God’s Absolute Authority.
Revealed: The Allah letters are 15, and messenger’s letters are 29, revealing the diff. of 14 – the Seven Pairs.
2:218 Those who believe, and those who emigrate and strive in the cause of GOD, have deserved GOD’s mercy. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
29:6 Those who strive, strive for their own good. GOD is in no need of anyone.
29:69 As for those who strive in our cause, we will surely guide them in our paths.
Most assuredly, GOD is with the pious.
60:1 Part: O you who believe, you shall not befriend My enemies and your enemies, extending love and friendship to them, even though they have disbelieved in the Truth that has come to you. They persecute the messenger, and you, just because you believe in GOD, your Lord. If you mobilize to struggle in My cause, seeking My blessings, how can you secretly love them?
Revealed: Up to the word, “messenger”, the Allah letters are 28, and messenger’s letters are 47, revealing the diff. of 19.

Revealed: For this part of the verse, the Allah letters are 49, a multiple of 7. Revealed: For this part of the verse, messenger’s letters are 84, a multiple of 14, revealing the Seven Pairs.
The whole purpose of striving is to see and confirm whether the believers support God wholeheartedly or not. Do they support God’s plans, system, laws, and commands? Do they uphold God’s Absolute Authority or not? There is reciprocity in supporting God, in turn, He also supports the believers. Here are the verses:
47:7 O you who believe, if you support GOD, He will support you, and strengthen your foothold.
61:13 Additionally, you get something you truly love: support from GOD and guaranteed victory. Give good news to the believers.
Revealed: The Aleefs are 10 + 4 = 14, revealing the Seven Pairs.
Revealed: The messenger’s letters are 22 + 25, sum = 47; revealing the diff. in GV of Allah 66 and messenger’s letters being 47, is precisely 19, Praise and Glory be to the Most Gracious.
3:160 Part 1: If GOD supports you, none can defeat you.
Confirmed: The Allah letters are 10, and the messenger’s letters are 11, revealing the diff. of 1 – this guarantee is given by God at this time, to those who follow me. It is only for the sincere believers.
3:160 Part 2: And if He abandons you, who else can support you? 3:160 Part 3: In GOD, the believers shall trust.
Confirmed: The Aleefs for all 3 parts are 4 – 3 – 2, revealing the diff. of 1 – The Absolute God confirms the profound truth and fact that no one can support us, other than HIM; therefore, the believers should put all their trust in ALLAH, Most Praiseworthy.
